MPP Living is a Sino-Australian ecommerce business that sources natural and organic products from Australia and around the world for Chinese consumers. They asked us to build and design a brand specifically for Weibo and WeChat, to help boost sales.
We started with a brand archetyping exercise to identify the best way to position the company online. After reviewing our findings, we set about designing a brand that reflected the company’s dual origins in Australia and China, thematically making use of the idea of clean and green Aussie provenance and the drive and dynamism of Shanghai. Our cross-cultural approach was supported by a colour palette of natural, earthy tones, which we paired with a warm and distinctive photographic style.
Like all good branding projects, our research, design and advice helped MPP Living clearly define themselves on their key sales channels – in this case Weibo and WeChat. Most importantly, the rebrand fulfilled its purpose of boosting financial performance.
